I've always found cleaning a gear cluster a big pain in the ass. Came up with this simple idea....and it really works. Drop the whole dirty thing into a small plastic container, and add 3/8" of degreaser. Put on a tight lid and shake like hell sideways for 5 minutes. Perfectly clean!
